Hypnobirthing
Hypnobirthing is the term given for the medical use of hypnotherapy during childbirth, to help women with their fears and anxiety.
While hypnobirthing is not the most widely accepted form of natural childbirth, it is growing in certain circles as another method for women as they approach the time to give birth to their baby. It is definitely an alternative method for going through labor, but a growing number of people are promoting for the following reasons: to help eliminate anxiety so you can increase confidence during labor, to help relax your muscles to decrease pain, to help speed the delivery, and to help you get more rest during your pregnancy.

In included this video about hypnobirthing, not because it is something I endorse, but to let you know that many women are doing many different things. Entering the time of childbirth is one of so many emotions. I believe that using a method like this certainly deserves more investigation on your part and truly exploring this alternative method. It is not something I would use, but hey, I'm old fashioned and enjoy screaming in sheer pain.
