The Lamaze method of natural childbirth is the most recognized name in the United States among birth centers and hospitals. Lamaze classes are taught by an independent instructor, probably a nurse on staff at the hospital, who will teach the natural process of birth, the breathing techniques and methods, which will empower you in the final chapter of your pregnancy and childbirth.
I used Lamaze for all four of my children. It is what I know and what I believe in. Other methods are fine too, but I believe there is a reason why the Lamaze method is the #1 childbirth technique taught in American hospitals.
