Moms should prepare physically by exercising during having a baby. Having a child is not an Olympic sport, so no one will win a medal! A mass of pregnant women spend allot of time debating if natural child birth is for them. Natural child birth is a wonderful, safe and satisfying experience for mothers, babies and families.
During labor water takes the weight off of your body and provides a gentle, equalizing pressure all over. The infant is monitored by a special underwater device. Water is known to aid ease pain during labor, making a natural birth more bearable. The equalizing pressure of the water during a water birth allows your blood to flow freely.
Your child's cord will float gently in the water, allowing the last pulses of blood to transfer from it and into your babe. The feeling of cold air on your child's face is what triggers that first breath, so you can be assured that your baby will not breathe in the moment he or she is under the water. You can relax and love your babe, using those first
few moments to get to know each other and start your nursing relationship. Despite its plentiful benefits, water birth is not for everyone.
Water, sometimes referred to as "nature’s epidural" is a wonderful way to relieve the discomforts of labor. Water gently cradles your body and eases the pain, allowing you to relax your body and open for your baby. Many midwives, obstetricians and birthing experts say that water birth can also minimize fetal complications. In order to decide if a water birth is for you, you will want to do some research.
Any article on natural child birth would be incomplete without mentioning water birth. Relaxation and the right support better you achieve your birth dreams.
