Pregnancy Exerice Videos

The last thing most ladies feel like doing when they are expecting a baby is exercise. Nevertheless, getting a regular workout can do miracles for your body no matter what stage of pregnancy you are in. There are many different options, but one of the easiest is to invest about $20 in an pregancy exercise video, whether doing yoga, using a birth ball, or any other method. The bottom line is that it will not only keep you in shape, but will also help relieve stress and anxiety along the way too.

One of the things you need to decide is whether you want to exercise alone at home, or find a local group that you can join with other expecting mothers. Both have their advantages. In my opinion, it is always nice to hook up with other moms, be held accountable, and to have the encouragement of a group of women such as this. However, when time is short, it is much easier to pop in an DVD and follow a routine for about 30 minutes.

If you can do both, then do both. I have found that I actually like doing things at home a little bit better. I have my place. I get on some work out clothes. Get out my 60 cm birth ball, and go to town. I have another DVD that is about yoga for pregnant women. I alternate between the two so I don't get bored. Besides, doing it at home is cheaper than signing up for a class.

Some moms will get together with other moms and do the routines together at their house. That is also a good idea to hold each other accountable. I did this a couple of times, but I prefer to exercise alone. My husband keeps me accountable and there are sometimes I like to exercise in my underwear, which isn't always appropriate for company.

The best thing about the exercise is that it can be done in your home in very little time. I would spend at minimum an hour on my exercise, not including drive time on days that I visited the park. The , video afforded me the convenience of being at home that took very little time out of my daily routine.

I also didn’t have to worry about weather or having any bladder issues while exercising. The restroom was just a couple steps away and I didn’t have to leave the house. The having a baby going to the gym video was the best way for me to keep in shape especially as I reached the end of my childbirth.

You can find these pregnancy exercise videos at many places like Best Buy, or to shop online at Amazon or ebay. They're not expensive, and this is one of those things that you won't regret doing, but you would regret not doing.
